When London-based couple Kabir and Meera decided to tie the knot in India, they wanted an authentic Rajputana palace ambiance without the astronomical venue charges and tourist crowds typical of Jaipur and Udaipur. They entrusted Mannat Events to execute a 3-day celebration at the magnificent Laxmi Vilas Palace in Bharatpur.

The Challenge

• Full Estate Buyout: Coordinating 400 international and domestic guests across 75 heritage rooms and partner heritage havelis.
• Extreme Heritage Protection: Laxmi Vilas Palace is a historic 19th-century royal residence with ornate stonework. Rigging decor without drilling or damaging historic walls was non-negotiable.
• Multi-Day Thematic Transformation: Creating three completely distinct visual worlds: Sufi Mehfil, Royal Rajasthani Sangeet, and a Grand Lotus Mandap Ceremony.

The Execution Strategy by Mannat Events

Because our production hub is just 45 minutes away in Agra, our team mobilized heavy free-standing aluminum trussing that required zero wall anchors, protecting the heritage structure 100%.

1. Day 1 - Sufi Night & Welcome Dinner: Courtyard lit with 500 brass lanterns, velvet diwans, live qawwali singers from Delhi, and royal Awadhi dum pukht feast.
2. Day 2 - Royal Sangeet: A 60-foot amphitheater LED stage with custom holographic backdrops and in-house intelligent moving beam choreography.
3. Day 3 - The Royal Baraat & Pheras: A regal vintage car procession flanked by royal lancers, 12 Punjabi dhol players, and cold-spark pyrotechnic fountains. The pheras took place on a custom water-floating lotus mandap erected over the palace pond.

Client Feedback: "Mannat Events made our royal wedding feel like a dream. Not a single hitch, incredible hospitality for our NRI guests, and flawless decor!" — Kabir & Meera.
